This collection shares resources that Switch Classroom TAC Member and APSI facilitator, Erika Erickson, uses and recommends for APES, pulled together specifically for APSI attendees. Everything here is free, editable, and aligned to the CED.
The Science of [Energy Source] video series is the fastest way to build student content knowledge across Unit 6. Each video runs under 10 minutes and covers the science behind a single source. Use them as anchor phenomena, sub-day material, or pre-reading before you go deeper.
For the bigger picture, Switch and Switch On show students how energy decisions play out in real communities around the world. The six Switch On episodes work especially well when you need students thinking about trade-offs, access, and consequences, the kinds of questions that show up in FRQs and don’t have clean answers.
