Women have played pivotal roles in shaping the current energy landscape. Additionally, women have driven innovation in the field. However, they have historically been underrepresented in STEM careers, including energy-related professions. This underrepresentation is particularly striking when considering that lack of access to energy disproportionately affects women and girls worldwide.
To address the challenges facing the energy industry, we must pave the way for more women to enter STEM fields and contribute their unique perspectives and talents. Thankfully, there is no shortage of inspiring women in energy and STEM fields who are leading the charge! From groundbreaking research to groundbreaking inventions, these trailblazers are shaping the future of energy.
