What a whirlwind at NSTA Philadelphia—and what a win for energy education! Our team at Switch Classroom had the absolute best time connecting with hundreds of passionate science educators, curriculum leaders, and STEM coordinators throughout the conference.
Our amazing Switch Classroom Specialist, Lynn Kistler, presented five interactive sessions, each one full of energy (literally and figuratively!). In fact, several teachers returned for multiple sessions—always a good sign you’re doing something right.
Here’s what Lynn shared with packed rooms of teachers eager for ready-to-use science lessons:
The feedback? Overwhelmingly positive. One teacher said, “Absolutely using—thank you!!! Great resources and ideas.” Another shared, “Just what I needed for our STEM Camp.” And a high school AP Environmental Science teacher told us, “I love your resources—thank you!”
Our booth was buzzing all weekend, with incredible conversations about how educators plan to use Switch Classroom this school year and during summer STEM camps. Many science leaders also expressed interest in joining our Teacher Advisory Committee, and we were thrilled to hear from so many who want to help shape the future of Switch Classroom.
💡 Don’t miss what’s coming next:
Our popular summer download, Sunshine & Science: Volume 2, is on its way this May! It’s a free, seasonal collection of energy-based STEM activities perfect for summer learning. Be sure to sign up for our newsletter here so it lands in your inbox first.

Thanks again to everyone who made NSTA Philly a success—we’re fired up to keep the momentum going and look forward to seeing everyone in Minneapolis in November at the NSTA Fall conference!
