Oct 25, 2024
We have exciting and timely news for Switch Classroom teachers! We’re rolling out a significant grading update this Sunday morning, October 27th - and we think you’re going to love it. The upgrades will speed things up and make grading even easier.
Here’s what’s new:
Bulk Grading By Question: Now you can tackle grading like a pro by reviewing all students’ answers to Question 1, then Question 2, and so on. Super efficient!
Progress at a Glance: Get a snapshot of individual students or your whole class’s progress at a glance, question by question. This makes it easier to spot trends and adjust your feedback.
More Accurate Grading: We’re moving away from letter grades and giving you the option to use editable percentages instead. Now you’ll have more control and precision when assessing your students’ work.
Heads up: All your students’ previously graded work will transfer seamlessly to the new system. But if you have ungraded assignments with due dates that have passed, you’ve got two options:
Grab a cup of coffee and wrap up your grading by Saturday night, 10/26/2024 at 11:59PM CT. Letter grades will switch to percentages on Sunday.
Procrastination pass granted! You can push the grading a little further by adjusting the due dates to Monday, 10/28/2024 at 7:00AM CT or later. All the perks of the new system will be there for you to enjoy when you’re ready.
And don’t worry, all student work that was previously graded will transfer to the new system.
We want you to have all the tools you need to make Switch Classroom the best part of your day. If you run into any questions or need a hand, our team’s got your back!
Thanks for everything you do!
