Assigning lessons on Switch Classroom is simple and direct. You can choose assignments based on the level and needs of your particular students and curriculum. Let’s get started!
Before starting to assign lessons, make sure you have explored Switch Classroom’s Lessons Library and Created Classrooms for your students. For teachers new to Switch Classroom, a good place to start is the Getting Started page with resources to help you create classrooms, add students and much more!
Here are the steps to assigning lessons in Switch Classroom:
Step 1: Select Assignments on the left toolbar and then click “Create Assignment.”
Step 2: Select the classrooms you want to assign the lessons to.
Step 3: Browse the lessons and select a lesson you want to assign.
Step 4: A list will drop down of all the available activities within that lesson. Select which activities you want to assign.
Step 5: If you would like to assign activities from more than one lesson, you can do that. Continue selecting lessons and activities to assign.
Step 6: When completed, click “Save Assignments.”
Step 7: You did it! Selected activities are now assigned to your students.
