Energy Lessons, Now in French (More on the Way)

If you’re a teacher in a French immersion or francophone classroom, we know it can be hard to find comprehensive energy lessons in French. It means a lot of extra time on your end, whether you’re searching for a strong French energy curriculum or translating lessons yourself. Our collection of French immersion energy lessons is focused on making it easier for you to teach in both French and English.

We’ve been working with one of our Teacher Advisory Council members, Carrie Antoniazzi, to translate our existing lessons as part of our French Resource Collection. Carrie teaches French immersion science in Canada, so she’s making sure these are immediately useful for teachers. We have six lessons currently live, with more on the way.

Each French lesson and its corresponding English version are linked above, so you can view both with two easy clicks. All resources are free, editable, and aligned with Canadian provincial curriculum, including British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Ontario.

How the Lessons Fit Into Your Classroom 

These lessons can serve as a substitute for their English versions, or they can be used alongside them in French Immersion classrooms. You don’t have to worry about translating lessons yourself or making more than one lesson plan. It’s all in one place.

The full collection lives on the French Resources / Ressources en français page. Although we made these resources with Canadian classrooms in mind, they can be used in any classroom, and new lessons will be added as they’re ready.
