Summary

Scott Tinker, a geologist at the University of Texas, travels the world examining every major energy source to understand what a realistic global energy transition actually looks like. Students follow him from Norwegian hydropower plants inside mountains to coal mines in Wyoming, wind farms in West Texas, nuclear facilities in France, and solar installations in California, seeing the trade-offs of each source firsthand.
