Science of Nuclear – Data Set

Summary

This nuclear data analysis activity challenges students to interpret a line graph of global nuclear power generation. Students will analyze historical trends, compare production between countries, and hypothesize about the factors influencing those trends. The questions also prompt students to consider the reasons for the plateauing of US nuclear output and the sharp decline in Japan’s production.
