Summary

Students analyze a global biofuel production dataset and line graph spanning 1990 to 2024, comparing regional trends across North America, South America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Africa. Five guided questions move from reading the data to making comparisons, evaluating trade-offs, and forming original questions. Works well as a data literacy activity in a high school energy unit or APES course.
