Family Energy Awareness Challenge

Summary

Students and their families work through a month-long energy and water conservation challenge, analyzing their household electricity bill, researching their local energy mix, and tracking daily conservation habits using a printable calendar. The SwitchOn documentary is built into the activity as a discussion tool for exploring global energy access. Designed as an optional take-home activity for middle or high school, with teacher setup in class and family participation at home.
