APES Objectives – Unit 1

Summary

The Unit 1 “What Do I Need to Know?” handout covers all 11 learning objectives for the Living World: Ecosystems unit of AP Environmental Science, including ecosystems, terrestrial and aquatic biomes, biogeochemical cycles, energy flow, and food webs. Students use the self-tracking “I Know” column to monitor their confidence across each objective as the unit progresses. Aligned to the CED with an AP Exam weighting of 6–8%, this handout works as both a daily study tool and a pre-test review guide.
